Keynote: The Humanity in Technology

In an era of big data and devices that are starting to outnumber people, how do we create digital marketing experiences that are smarter, make our lives better and offer that human touch? Microsoft’s Bob Bejan will talk about how Microsoft is challenging the status quo, turning big data into powerful insights for brands, and how technology is enhancing our lives today, from Windows 10 to wearables. He’ll also introduce the Microsoft Ventures team, who will share how they are working with startups to identify the trends and innovations on the horizon that marketers can engage in to create value for consumers.

Vice President North America, Advertising Sales and Marketing – Microsoft

Fireside Chat: Storytelling Renaissance or Hype?

The marketing world is ablaze with talk of storytelling and its importance in creating consumer engagement. Are we living in an age of renewed enthusiasm and appreciation of storytelling? Are platforms like Buzzfeed, Instagram, Snapchat subverting storytelling or reinventing it? Is a photo or a 7-second video really a story? We speak with media professionals to hear their thoughts on the craft of storytelling, who is engaging with stories, what storytelling techniques work, and where the future of storytelling is headed.
